Under the “FIRE series” we gather clinical studies focused on underrepresented populations in previous randomized clinical trials. The bishop of the “FIRE series” is the FIRE trial. The FIRE trial was focused on older MI patients with multivessel disease, that in previous studies about complete revascularization was less than 5%. The FIRE concept is not limited to only coronary intervention. Under the same philosophy, other trials have been ideated to generate evidence and data on neglected or poorly represented populations.
